LANDSCAPE & WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

At Explore Nature Photography Workshops, our aim is to provide the opportunity for everyone from complete beginners to professionals to experience the beauty of natural history throughout the UK and worldwide. All of our financially protected holidays and photo days are very carefully designed to place you in front of the best photographic opportunities. We believe the images that you will achieve from our hearted, professional and fun approach will be well worth your time with us.

Our Approach
Wildlife & Landscape photography requires many skills, beyond having ‘good’ camera equipment. We are passionate about the statement “The eye takes a photograph, not the camera”and believe that any equipment will still capture amazing moments, whether your using top of the tier equipment or a budget compact.

These skills are what our leaders share and pass on when you join any tour or workshop. The skills of field craft, reading light, been creative and learning an ethical approach to wildlife photography, are important to gaining beautiful moments within our natural world.

All of our holidays and photo days are very carefully designed to place you in front of the best photographic opportunities. We believe the images that you will achieve from our hearted, professional and fun approach will be well worth your time with us.

Explore Nature: A Not for Profit Company
We are passionate about conservation and take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. For us welfare of wildlife and habitats will always be the number one priority. Explore Nature is a purpose-driven social enterprise committed to see a greener planet earth where living landscapes are protected, enhanced, and valued by and for everyone. Our Mission is to achieve conservation and a rich bio-diverse landscape by committing to educating, inspiring and connecting communities to nature whilst providing bio-diverse habitats for our native species of wildlife, flora and fauna. With the help of education institutes, ecologists, conservationists, landowners, and the general public, we’re working to protect our delicately balanced ecosystem by bringing our most threatened native species back from the brink. Being closer to nature enhances our lives. Projects initiated by Explore Nature and our partners are making the link between nature and human benefit, with forest school education and outdoor activities for all the family and adults.

On the majority of our tours, we use community-based accommodation, focusing on income, which is then spent on the local villages for vital equipment, such as farming tools, schools and water pumps, along with important income for protection of species we focus on during the trip.

Our Valued Team
All the tour guides and workshop leaders at Explore Nature are, professional photographers, wildlife experts and have years of experience in the workshops they lead. Unlike some of the tour operators in the UK are tours and workshops our guided by professionals who have actually visited, photographed and attended the locations/species on offer.  All our guides hold a huge passion for photography and sharing their years of experience with our clients.

Our Profits
Our profits are dedicated to create as many bio diverse habitats through the UK as possible. We support local community groups by offering consultation, ecology and funding.
